Congratulations to Pearson Pettit for being named the Ledger-Enquirer High School Girls Fall Sports Athlete of the Year after winning the recent online poll!
Pearson had an outstanding season on the field and finished:
*Tied for 3rd in the state in receptions with 111
*2nd in the state in receiving yards (1,688 yards) and touchdowns (29)
*1st in the state in conversions with 22
*1st in the state in total points with 196, ranking 39th nationally
Pearson’s incredible performance was instrumental in leading the Harris County High School Flag Football Team to the GHSA State Championship. Her dedication, leadership, and work ethic truly set the standard for excellence.
